Sister’s Murder Mystery Solved After 9-Day Search by Determined Brother!

The Hemlock Township Police received a report from Harper Lane on June 20 regarding her missing sister, Katlyn Harp, 33. Lane was concerned as Harp had not been reachable and her location on Life360 had not been updated from the previous day. Vincent Harp, Katlyn’s husband, had sold a utility vehicle four days after her disappearance, which was found to have tested positive for blood. Surveillance footage showed Vincent driving with a large green box on June 20.

On June 29, Lane called the authorities to report that she had discovered a large green box near a cliff on a densely forested property previously owned by Vincent. The body of Katlyn Harp was found in the box nine days after she went missing from her home.

Pennsylvania State Troopers revealed on June 29 that Katlyn’s body was located in a green metal box on the property once owned by Vincent. It was Lane who had located the body, not law enforcement, after a nine-day search.

The investigation revealed discrepancies in Vincent’s statements about his whereabouts before and after his wife’s disappearance. He was seen on surveillance footage purchasing gloves at a gas station on the day of her disappearance and had sold a vehicle that tested positive for human blood. Further evidence pointed to Vincent’s involvement in moving his wife’s body.

Vincent has since been charged with criminal homicide, abuse of a corpse, and tampering with physical evidence. Lane’s dedication and assistance were crucial in the discovery of Katlyn’s body.

At 7 p.m., Vincent was brought before a judge to face three charges and was refused bail. He currently does not have legal representation and is scheduled to appear in court again on July 14. Original article can be found on People’s website.
