A 32-year-old woman from New York was arrested following a disturbance on a Southwest flight from LaGuardia to Kansas City. In viral videos, she can be seen pulling another passenger’s hair and spitting on them. The woman was later removed from the flight by Port Authority Police. The incident occurred in the early morning hours of June 17, and the passenger was charged with aggravated assault. She was subsequently taken to the hospital for evaluation and then placed in the custody of the New York City Department of Correction. Southwest Airlines commended their team for their handling of the situation.
