Shocking Incident Woman Accused of Drowning Dog in Airport Bathroom After Denied Boarding!

A woman in Florida has been charged with drowning her dog in an airport bathroom after being prohibited from bringing the pet on board a flight. The incident took place at Orlando International Airport, resulting in the woman’s arrest in Lake County on a charge of aggravated animal abuse, classified as a third-degree felony. The woman had attempted to bring her white miniature schnauzer, named Tywinn, on a flight to Colombia but was denied due to lacking proper documentation. Subsequently, she killed the dog and proceeded to board the plane without it. The cruel act was intentional, as stated in an arrest affidavit from the Orlando Police Department. The investigation began when a janitor discovered the dog’s body in a trash bag inside a restroom stall at the airport. The janitor had earlier observed the woman cleaning up water and dog food from the stall’s floor. Surveillance footage showed the woman conversing with airline staff while accompanied by the dog, then entering a bathroom with the dog and exiting without it shortly afterwards. The woman managed to pass through security and board the plane despite being informed that her dog could not travel without proper paperwork. The dog’s identity was confirmed through an implanted microchip, and a necropsy revealed that Tywinn had been drowned. The woman, a resident of Kenner, Louisiana, was released on $5,000 bail.
