Shocking Discovery Yosemite National Park Worker Found with Severe Injuries in Employee Housing Unit

A tragic incident occurred at Yosemite National Park last Thursday, resulting in the death of a woman who was found with severe injuries, according to the National Park Service (NPS). The NPS is currently investigating the death of the 34-year-old woman from Fresno, California, who was discovered with serious injuries at concessioner housing in Yosemite Valley on March 20. Law enforcement rangers and rescue personnel responded to a medical emergency at the employee housing unit where the woman was found. Despite being transported to a hospital in Fresno, she succumbed to her injuries the following day.

Although the woman, an employee of Yosemite Hospitality, has not been named by the NPS, the agency confirmed that she was the individual involved in the tragic incident. The NPS Investigative Services Branch is working in collaboration with the Fresno County Sheriff-Coroner’s Office and the Federal Bureau of Investigation to investigate the circumstances surrounding the woman’s death. At this time, no further details have been released.

Authorities are working to determine whether the woman’s death was suspicious. While park rangers initially raised concerns about the nature of her injuries and subsequent passing, the Fresno County Sheriff’s Office is assisting in the investigation to ascertain if there was any foul play involved. Despite these suspicions, there is currently no substantial evidence indicating suspicious activity.
