A woman in her 30s has been arrested on suspicion of infanticide and concealing birth after a newborn baby was discovered dead in a Marks & Spencer bag outside All Saints’ Church in Notting Hill, west London. The woman is also facing neglect charges.
Authorities are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the baby’s death and have stated that the mother is receiving medical treatment at a nearby hospital. A forensic post-mortem is scheduled to take place to provide more information about the tragic incident.
