Shocking Arrest of 3 in Michigan After Dead Puppy Found in Pizza Box!

Three adults, identified as Charles Ashbaker, Kelly Walker, and Dougal Nelson, were arrested by the Genesee County Sheriff’s Office. Deputies in Michigan came across a disturbing scene involving animal starvation and neglect of both animals and children. The investigation began when AT&T employees reported the theft of $30,000 worth of wireless cables in Flint.

Upon arriving at a house, deputies found a dead dog in a cage, an emaciated dog, and a puppy that had died and was left in a pizza box. Inside the residence, they discovered two more emaciated dogs living in appalling conditions without food or water. The house had no power, and the refrigerator contained rotted food.

Among the horrors, a 9-year-old child was found living in the same deplorable conditions. The deputies acted swiftly, rescuing the dogs and placing the child under the care of Child Protective Services.

The three adults each face a range of charges, including child abuse, animal cruelty, theft, and drug possession. Genesee County Sheriff Christopher Swanson emphasized the seriousness of the situation and expressed his commitment to ensuring that the individuals face justice.
