Shocking Allegation Chelsea Forward Sam Kerr’s Controversial Remarks!

In a trial at Kingston Crown Court on Monday, Chelsea forward Sam Kerr was accused of causing racially aggravated harassment towards Metropolitan Police officer Stephen Lovell in London. Kerr, who is a top women’s soccer player and the Australian captain, allegedly became abusive and insulting towards Lovell during an incident on Jan. 30, 2023.

Prosecutor Bill Emlyn Jones KC informed the jury that Kerr and her partner, West Ham midfielder Kristie Mewis, were out drinking and were taken to Twickenham Police Station by a taxi driver who claimed they refused to pay for cleanup costs and damaged his vehicle. Body camera footage showed Kerr stating that they were scared and trying to escape the cab when the damage occurred. Kerr also claimed they felt trapped and were begging to be let out.

Kerr and Mewis appeared distressed and intoxicated in the footage, with Mewis visibly crying. Both players accused the officers of siding with the taxi driver’s version of events. Kerr’s remark to Lovell that he was “stupid and white” was said to have upset him.

Lovell is expected to be cross-examined by Kerr’s lawyer Grace Forbes when the trial resumes.
