Newly released documents from the FBI and Department of Justice shed light on the relationship between Prince Andrew and Jeffrey Epstein. The memo, which comes five years after Prince Andrew stepped back from his royal duties due to his ties with the financier, reveals that there was no evidence of a “client list” or blackmail scheme involving Epstein. Following a thorough review of investigative materials, the FBI and DOJ concluded that there was no basis for further investigations against third parties.
The memo also confirmed that video evidence supported the official ruling that Epstein died by suicide in a New York City prison in 2019. Prince Andrew, King Charles’ younger brother, had withdrawn from his royal role in 2019 after a controversial interview about his association with Epstein. Despite denying any wrongdoing, he settled a lawsuit with Virginia Giuffre in 2022. Tragically, Giuffre passed away by suicide, as announced by her family earlier this year.
While no longer actively involved in royal duties, Prince Andrew’s ties to Epstein continue to be a topic of interest and scrutiny.
Drew consistently participates in royal family gatherings, such as the customary group visits to church during special occasions like Christmas and Easter. The Duke of York’s most recent public appearance was in April when he accompanied his ex-wife, Sarah Ferguson, to attend church with King Charles and other royal family members during Easter.
