School Bus Crash Overturns in New Jersey, 13 Injured!

A school bus carrying 31 individuals crashed and overturned on a New Jersey highway on Monday night, resulting in critical injuries to a child, as per officials. New Jersey State troopers swiftly responded to the accident on Garden State Parkway in Montvale, Bergen County at approximately 7:39 p.m. The bus was en route from New Jersey to New York, as confirmed by the Montvale mayor. According to a statement from New Jersey State Police, the bus veered off the right side of the road and overturned near milepost 170.5. In total, 15 individuals sustained injuries in the incident, including a child with serious injuries, 13 other children with minor injuries, and the 44-year-old bus driver with moderate injuries. Mayor Mike Ghassali mentioned that thirteen individuals were transported to local hospitals, including the critically injured child. The crash occurred close to the James Gandolfini Service Area in Montvale, stated Governor Phil Murphy. He added that the investigation into the accident was still ongoing. Ghassali expressed sympathy for the injured and their families during this challenging period.
