The world-famous aviation company is on the agenda with a scandal. The company gave a Christmas dinner to more than 700 employees in Western France. However, all employees fell ill with poisoning from this meal.

The ARS medical institution said the aviation group's employees experienced vomiting and diarrhea. On December 15, no details were given on what caused the dinner to turn into a nightmare, nor was it specified what was on the menu.

An investigation has been launched to find the source of the mass food poisoning.

An Airbus spokesperson claimed that only 100 people fell ill after the scandalous incident: "On Friday, December 15, around 100 Airbus Atlantic employees fell ill after contracting a foodborne illness after eating a company-organized Christmas dinner. This appears to be an isolated incident and all employees are doing well. The health of our employees remains our primary concern and we are cooperating fully with the ARS health authority to determine the cause of the illness and ensure that this does not recur in the future."

The Airbus group is one of the world's largest aircraft manufacturers and employs 134,000 people. Airbus Atlantic, a subsidiary of the aerospace group, employs 15,000 people in five countries.

This scandal in France is not the first of its kind. Earlier this year, a Greek citizen died in France after eating at a restaurant in Bordeaux and many others fell ill.
