According to reports, the low-key ceremony was attended by only a few close friends. Speculation about Ronan’s pregnancy was sparked by an engagement ring she wore in 2023. Lowden has previously praised Ronan for her talent and leadership on set while they were working on Mary Queen of Scots. The couple have similar tastes, and Ronan trusts Lowden’s judgement.
