Royal Revelation Princes Play Rugby!

Although day-to-day parenting for the royals differs in many ways, there are also aspects in which they are similar to the rest of us. A prime example is Kate Middleton and Prince William, who recently disclosed that they spend weekends shuttling to and from their sons’ sports competitions. The couple shared this insight at a rugby match between England and Wales in Cardiff, where they found themselves supporting opposing teams. William, as the Patron of the Welsh Rugby Union, naturally backed the Welsh side, while Kate, as the Patron of the Rugby Football Union, rooted for England.

Prior to the match, the royals met with injured players supported by the Welsh Rugby Charitable Trust, revealing that both their boys are enthusiastic players. “On weekends, we go from one competition to the next,” William mentioned. Kate added, “Louis, who is six, has just started touch rugby, and George, who is 11, plays more regularly. They truly enjoy it and have been exposed to various sports.”

The Wales family is known for their sports prowess, with William and Kate often joining in athletic activities during their engagements. Kate, recognized as one of the sportiest royals, has scaled back some activities since resuming royal duties post her cancer treatment last year, but her children have evidently continued their athletic pursuits.
