A tragic incident unfolded on Friday night in the City of Roswell, Georgia, as a police officer lost his life while responding to a call at the Kings Market shopping center located on 1425 Market Blvd. The Roswell Police Department swiftly reacted to a report of a suspicious individual at the shopping center around 7 p.m.
During the search for the reported person, an officer encountered a man behind the shopping center who then brandished a firearm and fired shots at the officer, resulting in the officer sustaining multiple gunshot wounds.
