Ringo Starr’s Kids Fed Up with Retirement Talk – You’ve Been Warned!

Ringo Starr is currently busy with a hit new album and a concert special filmed at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville. Despite talk of slowing down, his three children often tease him for always coming back to performing after each tour. Starr, 84, will embark on a 10-date tour with his All Starr Band in June and a six-show residency in Las Vegas in September. He has been playing with the band since 1989 and is looking forward to showcasing his new country album, Look Up, which was released in January. The record has been a success, reaching the Top 10 on Billboard’s album sales chart and becoming his first No. 1 album in the U.K. Starr credits producer T Bone Burnett for bringing the album to life after sending him a country track that sparked the project. Despite considering naming the album Be-Yond-Say, he settled on Look Up, reflecting his positive outlook on life. Starr’s love for country music dates back to his teenage years in Liverpool, and he is excited to share this passion with his fans during the upcoming shows.
