Lou Gramm and Foreigner are putting aside past issues and reuniting for a tour in 2025 after the band’s induction into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2024 changed the singer’s perspective. Celebrating 50 years of the band, Foreigner has an anniversary tour and documentary in the works. Gramm, 74, who was the original singer of the band since its inception in 1976, expressed his feelings about the reunion with Billboard. He emphasized the importance of letting go of grudges and reaching out, especially after the realization that life is too short. Gramm also reflected on his improved relationship with guitarist Mick Jones, with whom he had feuded in the past. The band’s lead singer, Kelly Hansen, who replaced Gramm in 2005, now has a better relationship with the original singer as well. Gramm expressed his excitement upon Foreigner’s nomination to the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame and shared his pride in the band’s accomplishments.
“Foreigner is set to mark their 50th anniversary in 2026. In honor of fifty years in the music industry, the band has scheduled performances in Australia as well as a special 50th anniversary tour, alongside the release of a documentary. Read more about this on People’s official website.”
