Initial medical assessments uncovered her afflictions of anemia, a urinary tract infection, and the perilous threat of refeeding syndrome — a life-threatening ailment that manifests when the body struggles to process food after prolonged starvation. Her delicate condition necessitated continuous monitoring and specialized attention from a devoted team of veterinarians. Against all odds, Baby Gina’s health stabilized gradually as she started gaining weight and regaining her vigor.
