Ree Drummond’s 30-Minute Cheesy Taco Pie Recipe Will Wow You!

Serving Size: 4-6
Preparation Time: 30 minutes
Total Time: 30 minutes

Ingredients:
– 1 (8-ounce) can refrigerated crescent rolls
– 1 1/4 cups grated cheddar cheese (about 5 ounces), plus 2 tablespoons for topping
– 2 tablespoons olive oil
– 4 garlic cloves, minced
– 1/2 small onion, diced small
– 1 tablespoon chili powder
– 2 teaspoons ground cumin
– 1 teaspoon ground coriander
– 1 pound lean ground beef
– 1/2 cup sour cream, plus 2 tablespoons for topping
– Hot sauce, to taste
– 1/2 cup shredded romaine lettuce
– 1 Roma tomato, diced

Directions:
1. Preheat the oven to 350°F.
2. Unroll the crescent dough and press it into a 9-by-9-inch baking pan, pinching the perforated seams together. The dough should come up the sides of the pan slightly.
3. Sprinkle the dough with 1/2 cup of the cheddar cheese and bake until golden and the cheese is melted, approximately 12 to 13 minutes. Remove from the oven and set aside to cool slightly.
4. Meanwhile, heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the minced garlic, diced onion, chili powder, cumin, and coriander. Cook, stirring occasionally, until the spices are very fragrant, about 2 to 3 minutes.
5. Add the ground beef and increase the heat to medium-high. Cook, breaking up the meat with a wooden spoon, until cooked through and browned, around 5 minutes.
6. Remove the skillet from the heat and stir in the sour cream, 3/4 cup of cheddar cheese, and hot sauce to taste.
7. Remove the crust from the baking pan and place it on a cutting board or serving platter.
8. Top the crust with the beef mixture and garnish with the remaining 2 tablespoons of cheddar, shredded lettuce, diced tomato, and sour cream.
9. Slice and serve with additional hot sauce, if desired.

Enjoy this delicious recipe that combines the flavors of cheddar cheese, seasoned ground beef, and fresh toppings in a convenient crescent roll crust. It’s a perfect dish for a quick and satisfying meal that the whole family will love.
