Reality TV Star’s Arrest Reveals Troubling Past

Reality TV personality Brandon Hantz, known for his time on the show Survivor, has been arrested on charges related to arson and conspiracy to commit illegal activities in connection with a biker gang in the Houston area. The U.S. Attorney’s Office in Texas announced the indictment of Hantz and 13 others linked to the Bandidos Outlaw Motorcycle Gang, which has been involved in violent activities against a rival gang. The charges include murder, attempted murder, and assault. Hantz, also known as Loco and Gun Drop, could face up to 20 years in prison for each charge if found guilty. The Justice Department is determined to combat criminal behavior and restore peace in communities affected by gang violence. Hantz, a relative of Survivor’s Russell Hantz, previously appeared on Survivor in 2011 and 2012, with notable exits from the show.

Additionally, Survivor winner Rachel LaMont is set to cohost the podcast On Fire With Jeff Probst in an exclusive collaboration. Reflecting on the incident, Probst noted, “Brandon clearly expressed his desire to exit the game. I commend him for staying by my side and avoiding a physical altercation. Likewise, I applaud Phillip and the other contestants for their composure. While this was a significant moment for the show, our primary concern was the well-being of all participants.” The original article can be found on Entertainment Weekly.
