Raiders DE Maxx Crosby Joins Eastern Michigan as Assistant GM!

Eastern Michigan University has brought in Las Vegas Raiders star defensive end Maxx Crosby as their new assistant general manager for the football team. Crosby, who played for the Eastern Michigan Eagles from 2015 to 2018, will be the first active professional football player to join a college team’s administrative staff. In addition to scouting high school players and enhancing their NIL and recruiting efforts, Crosby will also assist in fundraising, alumni relations, and supporting student-athletes. The school honored Crosby by renaming their playing field at Rynearson Stadium as “Crosby Field” after he made a generous $1 million donation. Crosby recently signed a lucrative extension with the Raiders, making him one of the highest-paid non-quarterbacks in the NFL. His new role at Eastern Michigan comes as the team looks to improve following a 5-7 season and a low national recruiting ranking.
