Prom Dress Heist Leads to Brutal Gas Station Brawl in Georgia!

A confrontation erupted during a prom dress sale at a Georgia gas station, resulting in a physical altercation. The incident took place at a RaceTrac gas station in Gwinnett County, outside Atlanta, where an 18-year-old seller met her friend Morgan Flinchum, 20, to sell a dress on Feb. 26. The dress, originally owned by Flinchum but in the seller’s possession due to her mother’s help with payment, was to be sold to Flinchum. However, when they entered the gas station’s bathroom for Flinchum to try on the dress, another individual intervened, taking the dress and fleeing. A struggle ensued, moving towards the gas pumps, with the seller’s boyfriend stepping in to retrieve the dress. This led to a physical altercation captured on surveillance footage, involving the victim, her boyfriend, and the alleged dress thieves.

Gwinnett County Police responded to the scene, leading to the arrests of Flinchum, Kaylee George, and Lelia DeJager, who turned themselves in. Flinchum was charged with battery and theft by taking, while DeJager and George were charged with similar offenses.

A police spokesperson emphasized the importance of conducting person-to-person sales in public places with surveillance cameras. The department recommended using designated e-commerce parking spots monitored by video for safe transactions.
