Projecting Augusta Cut Line Chaos!

At the halfway mark of the 2025 Masters in Augusta, Georgia, golfers are battling to secure a spot for the upcoming weekend at Augusta National. The top 50 players, along with any tied scores, will progress after Friday’s round to compete for the coveted green jacket. The projected cut line stood at 2-over early Friday morning, briefly dropping to 1-over as play got underway.

Renowned players such as Max Homa, Dustin Johnson, Phil Mickelson, and Jon Rahm found themselves outside the cut line at the start of Friday’s round. Only one amateur, Hiroshi Tai, managed to stay within the cut line after the initial round, while others like Jose Luis Ballester were on the outside. The leading amateur will be awarded the Silver Cup if they make it through to the weekend.

Justin Rose set the pace on Thursday with a remarkable 7-under 65, claiming a three-shot lead at the Masters. Scottie Scheffler and tied competitors Ludvig Ã…berg and Corey Conners followed closely at 4-under.

The projected cutline at the Masters will determine the top 50 players and those tied progressing to the weekend. Updates on the cut line will be provided on Friday.
