While we enjoy grabbing a quick meal at the drive-thru during a hectic day or road trip, as well as hanging out at our favorite fast food joints, there’s something special about recreating our favorite chain dishes at home. Copycat recipes can be helpful, but it’s even better when the actual brands release their products in grocery stores.
With Chick-fil-A offering its sauces, Arby’s selling its curly fries, and White Castle making its burgers and chicken rings available, it’s becoming easier to resist the temptation of stopping at a fast food restaurant when we have food waiting at home. Now, Popeyes is also joining the trend by launching its first-ever grocery line, featuring some unexpected products.
Popeyes is introducing two of its popular sauces, Blackened Ranch and Sweet Heat, in 18-ounce bottles at grocery stores nationwide this spring. These sauces will be available for purchase starting March 15 at major retailers such as Walmart, Kroger, Albertsons, Food Lion, and Amazon.
Popeyes’ Blackened Ranch is a savory and slightly spicy twist on its classic Buttermilk Ranch, incorporating the brand’s signature blackened seasoning blend. The Sweet Heat sauce, on the other hand, combines sweet honey with spicy Aleppo pepper hot sauce for a delightful “swicy” dipping experience.
Both sauces have been beloved by customers at the drive-thru, and a third favorite, Mardi Gras Mustard, is set to join them on store shelves in May. This creamy Creole mustard is infused with bold and spicy horseradish, making it a perfect accompaniment for sandwiches.
These three new bottled sauces from Popeyes will be available year-round, allowing you to bring the flavors of Louisiana into your own kitchen whenever you want. Fans are hopeful that Popeyes will expand its grocery offerings in the future, much like Arby’s did, starting with sauces before introducing frozen foods. For now, we’re excited to add some Popeyes flair to our meals with these delicious sauces.
