Police Solve Allotment Murder Mystery!

Police have completed their search of an allotment as part of the investigation into the disappearance of Maris Ile, a 54-year-old man from Latvia who was a seasonal worker in the UK. Maris Ile was last heard from on 20 November and was reported missing on 23 November after leaving his home in King’s Lynn, Norfolk to go to work in Ely, Cambridgeshire. Detectives initiated a murder investigation, suspecting foul play in his disappearance. While no significant findings were immediately uncovered during the search of the King’s Lynn allotment, several leads have been established. Four men and a woman who were arrested on suspicion of murder have been released on bail until 11 June. Det Supt Phill Gray stated that despite the lack of immediate breakthroughs, various lines of inquiry will be followed up in the coming weeks. The local community’s cooperation and patience during the investigation are greatly appreciated. For more updates, follow East of England news on various social media platforms.
