A man is facing charges after a dog bit a police officer in an incident in Poole. The Staffordshire bull terrier-type dog ran off and has not been found. The man, Andre Harold Willis, has been charged with various offenses including being in charge of a dog dangerously out of control and driving-related charges. Dorset Police have stated that the dog is not believed to be a significant risk to the public, but caution is advised if spotted.
