Police chase chaos! Five injured after car crashes during pursuit!

Surrey Police has self-referred to the Independent Office for Police Conduct after a car crash during a police pursuit. Five individuals were hospitalized following the incident. The pursuit began in Godstone when officers attempted to pull over a suspicious silver Kia Sedona at around 22:15 GMT on Friday. The Kia fled and collided with another car on Oxted Road, injuring the occupants of both vehicles. A 36-year-old man from St Leonards-on-Sea, East Sussex, was arrested on multiple charges, including dangerous driving and driving under the influence. Surrey Police appealed for witnesses to the crash and preceding events to come forward. The force has made a mandatory referral to the Independent Office for Police Conduct due to the pursuit.
