The small plane, which took off from the airport in the city of Rio Branco, crashed in the Amazon Forest in the state of Acre.

In the statement made by the company to which the plane is affiliated, it was stated that the plane caught fire immediately after crashing, expressing great sorrow over the accident.
The statement said that many ambulances and fire brigades were dispatched to the scene.
An investigation into the accident has been launched.
