An OnlyFans model is currently facing a murder charge in connection to the death of a man who paid her $11,000 during a BDSM fetish video they were filming. 31-year-old Michaela Brashaye Rylaarsdam recorded the explicit video for her OnlyFans account with 55-year-old Michael Dale at his home in Escodino, California. The incident involved Rylaarsdam binding Dale in plastic wrap and duct tape, resulting in his death by asphyxiation, as detailed in an affidavit reviewed by The San Diego Union-Tribune. Despite having no prior experience with BDSM, Rylaarsdam explained to authorities that she was hired by Dale to wrap him in plastic wrap like a mummy and glue women’s boots to his feet, based on texts found in the affidavit.
Disturbing footage from the encounter on April 17, 2023, showed Dale restrained with duct tape over his mouth, his head covered in cling wrap and further secured with duct tape, and a plastic bag over his face and head, all taped down. As Dale struggled for air on the floor, Rylaarsdam was reportedly filming sexual acts nearby for the OnlyFans video on her phone. The plastic wrappings remained on Dale for approximately eight minutes, with his limbs tightly bound, making it impossible for him to remove the materials obstructing his breathing.
In a moment of realization that something had gone terribly wrong, Rylaarsdam rushed to call 911. Authorities arrived to find her performing CPR on the unconscious Dale, who was later pronounced brain dead at a hospital and taken off life support. The official cause of death was determined to be lack of oxygen to the brain, according to a coroner’s report.
Rylaarsdam, who also goes by the performer name “Asshley Sincal”, recorded the video for her OnlyFans profile, which she manages in partnership with her husband Brandon. A lawyer representing Rylaarsdam asserts that the activities were consensual and that she did not anticipate Dale’s death. Rylaarsdam was arrested recently and has pleaded not guilty to the second-degree murder charge. She is currently awaiting trial in jail without bond.
