Olympic Gold Medalist Kyle Snyder Caught in Prostitution Sting, Police Reveal!

Olympic gold medalist Kyle Snyder was among 16 men arrested in Ohio as part of a prostitution sting, the Columbus Division of Police confirmed on Monday. Snyder, 29, was taken into custody on May 9 during an undercover operation at a hotel on the city’s north side for engaging in prostitution. He was given a court summons for May 19 and released at the scene. Snyder, a three-time Olympic wrestler in the 97kg freestyle category, claimed gold at the 2016 Rio de Janeiro Games and silver in Tokyo in 2021, with a fourth-place finish in Paris in 2024. It is unclear if he has legal representation. The arrest stemmed from an operation conducted by the Columbus Division of Police’s Police And Community Together Unit to combat prostitution. Snyder allegedly responded to online ads, texting and calling officers before being apprehended at a hotel, where he paid an undercover officer for sexual services. Snyder, who made history as the youngest U.S. wrestling Olympic champion in 2016, is also a three-time world champion and three-time NCAA champion from Ohio State University. A Maryland native, he is married to former Syracuse University soccer player Maddie Pack. Snyder’s father is a former collegiate football player and is currently a criminal investigator with the Department of Homeland Security.
