Obama’s Epic 2024 Music Picks Kendrick Lamar, Beyoncé, Billie Eilish!

In keeping with tradition, former President Barack Obama has recently shared his favorite music selections from the year 2024. Among the standout tracks on his list are Kendrick Lamar’s “Squabble Up,” Beyoncé’s “Texas Hold ‘Em,” and Shaboozey’s “A Bar Song (Tipsy).”

Obama unveiled his musical preferences on social media following earlier posts about his top movies and books of the year. Notable mentions on his curated playlist include Billie Eilish’s “Lunch,” Jordan Adetunji’s “Kehlani,” Tommy Richman’s “Million Dollar Baby,” Karol G’s “Si Antes Te Hubiera Conocido,” and Bonny Light Horseman’s “Old Dutch.” Additionally, tracks such as Central Cee and Lil Baby’s “Band4band,” Rema’s “Yayo,” and more made the cut.

The former President expressed his enthusiasm for the selected songs by stating, “Here are my favorite songs from this year! Check them out if you’re looking to shake up your playlist – and let me know if there’s a song or artist I should make sure to listen to.”

Earlier in the year, Obama had also shared his summer playlist, featuring tracks like Charli XCX’s “365,” Tems’ “Love Me Jeje,” Saweetie’s “My Best,” and GloRilla and Megan Thee Stallion’s “Wanna Be.” He paid homage to classic hits as well, including the Rolling Stones’ “(I Can’t Get No) Satisfaction,” Blackstreet’s “No Diggity,” and 2Pac’s “How Do U Want It.”
