NYPD Detective Paul D’Amico Charged with Shocking Sex Abuse Allegations!

A veteran NYPD detective, Paul D’Amico, has been charged with sexual abuse for allegedly grabbing a female officer’s buttocks inside police headquarters. The incident occurred on Feb. 5 at 1 Police Plaza, where D’Amico, who has been with the department since 1996, reportedly groped the woman. When confronted, D’Amico apologized and fled the scene. He was arrested and charged with forcible touching and sexual abuse in the third degree. Despite his clean record and 27 years of service, D’Amico’s lawyer criticized the decision to charge him, stating that it was unjust and inexplicable. The detective has been released without bail but is prohibited from approaching the victim.
