NYC Woman Attacked Terrifying Knifepoint Assault in Queens!

Police said a Queens woman was sexually assaulted at knifepoint while walking home early Friday by a man in a “Scary Ghost Face” t-shirt. The victim, aged 50, was attacked at 162nd Street and 89th Avenue in Jamaica around 3 a.m. The suspect, wearing dark pants and shoes, threatened her with a knife before fleeing south on 89th Avenue. The victim was taken to a hospital in stable condition.

Residents in the area expressed shock and concern over the incident. Dario Martinez, an elderly resident, emphasized the dangers of the neighborhood at night. Another resident, Carmen, shared her fear of going outside after 6 p.m. Latrenda Frazier, a caretaker for her mother, vowed to fight back fiercely if confronted in a similar situation.

The suspect is described as a light-skinned man in his 20s to 30s, standing 5-foot-6, and weighing approximately 120 pounds with black hair. He was last seen wearing a black baseball cap, black and white sneakers, and a black sweatshirt with red lettering. Police have released surveillance images of the suspect and ask the public to report any information to the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline.
