Netanyahu’s Defiant Visit to Hungary Amid ICC Arrest Warrants!

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is set to visit Hungary this week, despite an arrest warrant issued by the International Criminal Court over allegations of war crimes in Gaza. During his visit, scheduled from Wednesday to Sunday, Netanyahu will meet with Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban, who had extended the invitation shortly after the ICC warrant was issued. Orban had previously stated that the warrant would not be observed, despite Hungary being an EU member obligated to enforce ICC warrants. Netanyahu’s visit to Hungary will mark his second trip abroad since the warrants were announced, with his previous visit being to Washington in February to meet with U.S. President Donald Trump. Israel has strongly criticized the warrants against Netanyahu and former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant, dismissing the allegations as baseless. The ICC has also issued an arrest warrant for Hamas leader Ibrahim Al-Masri. Hungary has not yet commented on Netanyahu’s upcoming visit.
