NBCUniversal and Nexstar Media have officially extended their ongoing distribution agreement covering NBC affiliate TV stations. The renewal was jointly announced by the two companies on Wednesday. Specific financial details of the deal have not been publicly disclosed.
As part of the renewed agreement, NBCUniversal and Nexstar Media have entered into a multi-year pact that encompasses NBC TV Network affiliates in 33 markets across the United States. This includes 29 stations owned by Nexstar, three stations owned by Mission Broadcasting, and one station owned by White Knight Broadcasting. In total, the 33 affiliate stations collectively reach over 14 million households in the U.S.
