Subsequently, a tactical maneuver involving the use of a police car and a police dog was employed to corner the man. However, amidst the chaos, the dog was reportedly stabbed during the incident and had to be promptly transported to a veterinary clinic for treatment. The 27-year-old suspect was subsequently hospitalized for medical attention and now faces various charges, including one related to the Animal Welfare Act.
