UPDATE: Chaninton Clysowan Avery, a missing individual from the Upper Valley area, has been located, as confirmed by the El Paso Police at approximately 11:45 p.m. on Sunday.
In an appeal for assistance, the El Paso Police Department is seeking the community’s help in locating a woman who disappeared along with her pet dog on Sunday, February 2, within the confines of El Paso’s Upper Valley region.
On the morning of February 2, at around 8 a.m., 67-year-old Chaninton Clysowan Avery departed from her residence situated near the 5500 block of Last Waltz Drive. She was accompanied by her boxer dog as she entered her vehicle, described as a maroon 2013 Chrysler Town and Country van bearing Texas license plate number GL89ZP.
Authorities have highlighted that Avery is in the early stages of dementia and lacks a cell phone or any other means of communication.
Should you come across Avery or have any information regarding her whereabouts, it is imperative to promptly notify the El Paso Police by dialing 911 in case of emergencies or contacting (915) 832-4400 for non-emergency assistance.
