Miami Hurricanes linebacker Adarius Hayes has been discharged from the hospital following his involvement in a two-car collision on Saturday that tragically claimed the lives of three individuals. The incident occurred in Largo, Florida, where Hayes was driving a Dodge Durango that collided with a Kia Soul at an intersection. The driver of the Kia, as well as two children aged 10 and 4 who were passengers, lost their lives in the crash, while another passenger sustained serious injuries and was hospitalized. Hayes, a freshman linebacker for the Hurricanes, suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was also hospitalized. The school expressed deep sadness over the fatalities and extended thoughts and prayers to the families of those affected. Largo Police confirmed that neither driver showed signs of impairment, and no criminal charges were imminent. Hayes, a highly touted recruit from Largo High School, played in 12 games during his freshman season, registering four tackles and one interception.
