Milwaukee Shooting Leaves 2 Officers Injured!

Two Milwaukee police officers were injured when a suspect opened fire on them in an alleyway, according to authorities. The incident occurred on June 26 while the officers, aged 32 and 29, were responding to a call about shots fired. They were unable to return fire. The 32-year-old officer suffered critical injuries, including multiple gunshot wounds to his upper arm and chest, causing severe internal injuries. He underwent surgery. The 29-year-old officer was shot in the foot and back and will also undergo surgery. Both officers had over six years of experience on the force. Police arrested a suspect in the early hours of June 27, and charges will be presented to the district attorney. This incident marks at least the third time an officer has been shot in Milwaukee this year.
