Authorities are still searching for the gunman following a shooting at a Michigan hospital. The incident occurred at 8 a.m. at Corewell Health Beaumont Troy Hospital. According to Troy police, the shooting seems to be isolated, but the shooter remains at large. One individual was receiving medical treatment in the emergency room at the time of the shooting, with the rest of the hospital placed on lockdown. It is unclear if the victim sustained gunshot wounds. Hospital staff received an alert instructing them to take immediate safety precautions following the incident. Police have advised the public to avoid the hospital area, located approximately 25 miles north of downtown Detroit. The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives has also responded to the scene.
