Michigan Church Shooting Fatalities and Injuries Reported!

A shooting incident occurred at CrossPointe Community Church in Wayne, Michigan, resulting in one person being injured on Sunday. The perpetrator was shot and killed by a security guard, according to local authorities. The Wayne Police responded to reports of an active shooter in the church parking lot. Upon arrival, they discovered that the security guard had taken down the suspect, identified as a 31-year-old male. Another individual was also wounded in the leg during the incident. The investigation is ongoing, and authorities have advised the public to steer clear of the area. The church is situated on Glenwood Road, approximately 30 miles west of Detroit. FBI Deputy Director Dan Bongino mentioned that their teams are assisting with the investigation on-site in Wayne, Michigan. A video livestream from inside the church captured the congregation’s reaction to the unfolding events, with people seeking shelter and moving to the back of the room upon hearing about the shooter.
