Michelle Obama and Tina Knowles Dance Together in Viral Video!

Michelle Obama is enjoying herself following President Donald Trump’s second term. In a video shared on her official Instagram account, the author of “Becoming” showcased her dance skills to the popular song “Boots on the Ground (Where Them Fans At)” by 803Fresh before participating in a book discussion with Beyoncé’s mother, Tina Knowles.

“I had a great time chatting with @MsTinaKnowles last week about her memoir, Matriarch,” she wrote in her post on May 9. “This Mother’s Day weekend, I encourage you to watch this special episode of @IMOpodcasts now available on YouTube via the link in my bio or on your preferred podcast platform.”

Michelle Obama assisted Tina Knowles in launching her book tour in Washington, D.C. On April 30, the former first lady joined the fashion designer to kick off a nine-city book tour, “Matriarch: An Evening with Tina Knowles, Family and Friends,” at the MGM National Harbor Hotel and Casino in the Washington D.C. region. The event culminated with both of them dancing to “Boots on the Ground.”

Tina Knowles’ memoir “Matriarch” chronicles her journey from a young girl in Galveston, Texas to the mother of Beyoncé, Solange Knowles, and “bonus daughter” Kelly Rowland, all of whom are globally recognized.

Michelle Obama is evolving into a media mogul in her post-White House life. Amid Trump’s return to the White House, the former first lady has reemerged with a more laid-back approach as the co-host of the popular podcast “IMO” alongside her brother Craig Robinson.

In a recent podcast episode with Robinson and Oscar nominee Taraji P. Henson, Michelle Obama addressed rumors about her divorce from former President Barack Obama, sparked by her absence at the inauguration. She explained, “My choice to skip the inauguration or to make decisions at the start of this year that were best for me were met with ridicule and criticism. People couldn’t fathom that I had reasons beyond my marriage.” Michelle emphasized that if there were marital issues, they would not be kept private.

During an interview on “The Diary of a CEO” podcast with host Steven Bartlett, Michelle Obama reiterated that any problems in her marriage would be public knowledge, as she is not one to hide her struggles. Robinson also chimed in, jokingly suggesting that he would host a podcast with Barack Obama if there were marital troubles.
