Michael Lohan Arrested Again! What’s Next for Lindsay’s Father

Michael Lohan, father of Lindsay Lohan, was recently taken into custody for violating probation in Palm Beach, Florida. The arrest occurred on Sunday, March 16 at 5:18 p.m. as confirmed by documents obtained by Fox News Digital. Lohan’s attorney, Robert Gershman, stated that Michael voluntarily surrendered and is set for a hearing on his release the following day. Assurances were made that the circumstances will be given fair consideration by the court and Lohan’s release is anticipated.

This incident follows a previous arrest where Lohan was accused of assaulting his estranged wife, Kate Major Lohan, in Texas. The court documents revealed that Lohan faced a felony assault charge known as “continuous violence against the family” in February. Kate Lohan reported the assault to authorities, detailing the incident that led to bruising visible on her body. Kate emphasized the need for privacy and justice for herself and her children.

Michael Lohan’s representative, Mike Quinn, defended him by highlighting Lohan’s dedication as a father, husband, and his commitment to sobriety. The statement expressed support for Lohan and trust in his character, indicating confidence in his eventual vindication.

Lohan’s history includes prior arrests in 2020 and 2021 for various charges, including patient brokering. His marriage to Kate has produced two sons, Landon Major Lohan and Logan Michael Lohan. Despite these legal challenges, Lohan’s supporters remain hopeful for his exoneration.

Allegedly, Michael Lohan was arrested in 2021 on charges related to referring addicts to rehab centers in exchange for kickbacks. Authorities reported that a drug treatment center in the Delray Beach area called Pride Recovery paid over $27,000 in kickbacks to Lohan or a business he was affiliated with, Lola Recovery Ventures of Palm Beach Gardens. In Florida, it is unlawful for healthcare providers to offer commissions for patient referrals, as this practice has been associated with fraudulent activities such as unnecessary tests being conducted on patients with health insurance.
