The issue of food recalls continues as Trader Joe’s announces a recall on approximately 61,000 bottles of Gerolsteiner Sparkling Natural Mineral Waters. The glass bottles are at risk of shattering or cracking, posing a potential laceration hazard.
This recall affects only the 750 ml bottles sold between December 2024 and January 2025, with lot numbers 11/28/2024 L or 11/27/2024 L. The recalled products were distributed in 13 states and have best-by-dates of December 18 or 19, 2027. Customers are advised to return the affected bottles for a full refund, even without proof of purchase.
While there have been no reported injuries, the company is taking proactive measures to address this issue.
