Massive Bee Swarm Hospitalizes Three in Critical Condition, 24 Injured!

A serene town was rattled by a sudden frenzy this summer when a swarm of bees launched an unexpected attack, leaving 24 individuals injured. The incident occurred in Aurillac, a charming French village, where pedestrians were stung over a 30-minute period, resulting in three people being in critical condition and requiring hospitalization. This alarming event comes on the heels of a concerning trend at music festivals, where fans have been targeted in mysterious needle attacks. Aurillac, nestled in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region of France, is home to approximately 26,000 residents according to the French National Institute of Statistics and Economic Studies. Mayor Pierre Mathonier reassured the public that those in critical condition are now improving. The mayor suggested that the aggressive behavior of the bees may be linked to their increasing hostility over time. Lt. Col. Michel Cayla, who oversees the local fire services, described the bee attack as “impressive,” noting the unprecedented scale of the incident. Bee sting symptoms, although typically minor, can include immediate, intense pain, swelling, and welts. The beehive responsible for the attack has since been removed and relocated outside of town.
