Man’s Desperate Plea as Girlfriend Bled to Death During Home Invasion!

A man in Florida has been taken into custody over a year after his girlfriend was fatally shot while sleeping beside their three children. Porshe Streeter, 30, lost her life during what appeared to be a home invasion in an Orlando home on the night of January 13, 2024, as revealed in an arrest warrant affidavit obtained by PEOPLE. Saun Rainge Jr., the father of Streeter’s children who witnessed the shooting, was apprehended this week, as announced by the Orange County Sheriff’s Office on Thursday, April 4. Benjamin Garmon was also arrested for his alleged involvement in Streeter’s murder, reportedly acting under the orders of Rainge.

Streeter was discovered deceased in the bedroom after Rainge contacted 911 to report the shooting, according to the affidavit. Rainge, who sustained a gunshot wound to his arm, led officers to the bedroom where Streeter lay. Initially claiming that an assailant entered the apartment at gunpoint and shot Streeter as she reached for her phone, Rainge attempted to save her by urging her to fight on.

However, investigators cast doubt on Rainge’s account, citing evidence such as dried blood around Streeter’s wounds and a medical examiner’s report indicating an earlier time of death. Further details, including witness testimonies and security footage, suggest that Streeter passed away approximately two hours prior to the 911 call. Rainge’s presence at the residence was found to be unauthorized based on text exchanges with Streeter.

The authorities were able to identify Garmon through security footage and the description provided by the couple’s 10-year-old child, whose depiction of Garmon matched the images captured on video. Both Rainge and Garmon are now facing first-degree murder charges. While Rainge’s plea status remains undisclosed, inquiries have been made to the public defender’s office handling his case. Garmon’s criminal history was not available as of the latest update.
