A Pennsylvania engineer, known as Philly Jawn, won $50,000 in the Maryland Lottery after discovering a winning ticket he had purchased at Woodlawn Mart in Baltimore County on June 4. He had forgotten about the ticket until more than a week later when he found it while cleaning out his car. Philly Jawn had been playing the lottery for four years, choosing numbers with personal significance like family birthdays. He plans to use the prize money to pay off bills and save the rest. Although he hadn’t shared the news with his family yet, he is too excited to keep it a secret for much longer.
