Man Charged with Murder Following Disturbance Leading to Woman’s Death

A man aged 50 has been accused of murdering a woman who passed away in west London. Metropolitan Police officers were summoned to a residence on Jubilee Road in Perivale last Friday in response to reports of a disturbance. The woman, identified as Ana Maria Murariu, aged 45, was discovered unresponsive. Despite the efforts of medical personnel to revive her, she tragically passed away on the premises. On Saturday, detectives formally charged Mugurel Nica, also a resident of Perivale, with murder. Nica is currently in custody and is scheduled to appear at Willesden Magistrates’ Court on Monday. A post-mortem examination will be conducted in the near future, as stated by the police. Detective Inspector Richard Kempshall, from the Specialist Crime unit of the force, expressed, “We are providing ongoing support to Ana Maria’s family during this challenging period, and our heartfelt thoughts are with them.” For the latest updates from BBC Radio London, tune in to Sounds and stay connected with BBC London on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
