A man has been officially charged in connection with a fatal assault that took place in Malahide, County Dublin. According to Gardaí, the Irish police force, the incident occurred at Gainsborough Lawn around 08:30 local time on a Saturday morning, where a man in his 60s was found unresponsive following the attack. Tragically, the victim was later pronounced dead at the scene.
The suspect, a man in his 20s, is scheduled to appear before a special session of the Criminal Courts of Justice on Sunday. Reports from Irish broadcaster RTÉ indicate that the victim’s body was removed on the same day, with a post-mortem examination expected to be conducted.
