The police conducted raids as part of an operation in connection with a series of local robberies. Reports indicate that a total of three watches belonging to Reeves were recovered during the raids. Chilean authorities are said to be collaborating with U.S. officials on the case, aiding in connecting the stolen items to a burglary at Reeves’ residence in 2023. Police informed the media that a 21-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the case. Reeves’ home in LA had previously been burglarized twice within a span of three days in September 2014, as confirmed by the Los Angeles Police Department to CNN at the time.
During one of the incidents, the police responded to a burglary in progress at Reeves’ residence while the actor was home. Although nothing was reported stolen, a woman was detained and later taken for medical evaluation. One of Reeves’ most notable roles was starring alongside Sandra Bullock in the ’90s hit movie “Speed.” Subsequently, another incident occurred three days later when a woman allegedly entered his property through open gates from ongoing construction work. The police discovered the female suspect in Reeves’ pool following a trespassing report after 10 a.m.
