Los Angeles wildfires fuel housing crisis!

CBS News joined realtor Robin Walpert as she made her way to her neighborhood in Pacific Palisades for the first time since the Palisades Fire ravaged the area. “This is a housing crisis compounded by another housing crisis,” expressed Walpert, whose own home was fortunately spared from the flames. She expressed concerns over the city’s strained resources, stating, “We’re stretched to our limits right now. It’s overcrowded, lacking in inventory, if that’s even a word, and it’s simply unbelievable to witness.”

On the other hand, Hall remains resolute in her search for a new place to call home. “I’ve experienced homelessness in the past,” shared Hall. “So, it’s incredibly distressing to have promised myself that I would never allow us to be in this kind of situation again. We are actively seeking a permanent housing solution.”
