Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov informed reporters that the two countries are in the early stages of restoring their bilateral relations. While acknowledging the tough road ahead, Peskov highlighted the expressed political determination of both presidents. He emphasized the importance of assessing whether Ukraine genuinely desires peace as it prepares for diplomatic discussions with the U.S. in Saudi Arabia.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy has expressed readiness to engage in negotiations promptly and is seeking assurances from the U.S. and Europe to ensure the future security of his country.
